Our sterling silver rings are personalised using a precision machine-engraving technique with a diamond-tip method, ensuring fine, detailed engraving designed to last. Inspired by the enduring charm of traditional hand-engraved rings, this method delivers the same bespoke and timeless quality. Each ring is engraved with a classic capitalised font, chosen for its elegant and enduring finish, making your piece truly unique and meaningful.
For some finer sterling silver rings, engraving may be limited to a maximum of 5 characters. This is due to silver being softer than gold, which affects the engraving process. While gold allows for more movement during engraving without compromising the band’s surface, sterling silver requires additional care to preserve its shape and integrity.
This thoughtful engraving ensures your sterling silver ring becomes a cherished keepsake, beautifully crafted to stand the test of time.
Care
Solid Sterling Silver Rings are designed to last a lifetime, withstanding everyday wear and elements like water and soaps. However, proper care is essential to maintain their shine and minimise markings over time.
For best care:
- Remove your rings when swimming, sleeping, or engaging in activities that may expose them to harsh chemicals, such as chlorine, cleaning agents, or saltwater, as these can tarnish silver.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and hair products, as these can accelerate tarnishing and dull the finish.
- Gently clean your rings with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Use a silver polishing cloth periodically to restore shine.
- As with all sterling silver rings, brushing against rough surfaces may cause markings. Handle your rings with care to preserve their smooth finish.
- Store your rings in a soft pouch, airtight bag, or jewellery box to prevent scratches and reduce exposure to air and moisture, which can cause tarnishing.
